Yeah it's working without code changes.

I wanted to change inno installer file to create this directory automatically and some visual option for vs2012 but haven't got chance yet.

It perfectly works as an Add-in for Visual Studio 2012. You just need to add appropriate VsTortoise.AddIn to "All Users\Microsoft\VisualStudio\11.0\Addins\".

I guess this is bad news. Visual Studio 2012 professional or higher is required to build extensions for VS2012. I can't afford the $1000 for it, so unfortunalety I'm not able to provide an update for VsTortoise that would work with VS2012. I'm sorry.

Hi Alex, I hope to have fixed the issue of missing buttons in revision 64760. You can download an alpha build at http://www.console-dev.de/tmp/vstortoise31alpha1.zip which contains this fix.

Hi I've played around with the latter problem a bit and just realized, that the menus do appear in Build 30 when starting a second instance of VS...

Hi,

I was looking for a SVN integration into VS and found VsTortoise. It seems very promising to me, but....

I've installed vstortoise30beta_svn16.exe and I'm working with VS 2008. Unfortunately, no menus are created within VS 2008. I do neither have the VsTortoise entry in the menu bar, nor any entries in the context menus.

Then I tried uninstalling the Build 30 and installed Build 29. With this Build I do have all menu entries, but each time I start VS I got one more pair of 'Update' and 'Commit' entries in the context menus, so that the context menu is growing larger and larger with each start of VS!

Unfortunately, this makes VsTortoise unusable for me at the time. Will there be a bugfix to the latest build soon?

I'l also like it to be inside VsTortoise.

Now I use AnkhSVN for visualisation of items in Solution Explorer:

It's actually a full subversion client but with it's own dialogs. I prefer to use the TortoiseSVN Client everywhere. Perhaps you can use this till it's implemented.

I work on a 1.7 release already. Actually it's in (closed) alpha testing since a couple of days, but way not sharing the links, so here they are:

VsTortoise Build 30 alpha for TortoiseSVN 1.7

The 1.6 setup seems to display an incorrect warning at startup. It says "Version mismatch between VsTortoise and TortoiseSVN" even when TSVN 1.6.x is installed, but I didn't have time to further investigate, so this is definitely an issue that must get fixed before I officially release it as beta version. The 1.7 version seems to work just fine.

Is it possible to create a v1.7 compatible beta release please?

I updated my local working copies to v1.7. So Release 29Beta wasn't working any more. Now I download the sourcecode and used it in Studio and everything seems to be working just fine after using it for a couple of days.

If there was an installer I could update my collegues pc's too.

VsTortoise does not support a "SVN check out". You need to check out the project with TortoiseSVN for example.

I have vstortoise installed with vs2005. I see it in the menu bar.

I have the url for an svn released project on sourceforge. How do I check out the code from with vs2005 with vstortoise? Everything seems greyed out.
